    1. I was rejected by all the UK universities that I applied to because I wrote a poor personal statement. I also applied to the University of Hong Kong but I was rejected because my interview performance was not good enough.

    1. Yes, I am a JPA scholar. I did not apply to Australian universities because their intakes are in February and I did not want to wait for more than 6 months after completing A Level in June.

    1. Please try downloading it again. If you still face the same problem, then there may be some software problems with your computer. You can then try using a different device.

    1. For AS, I did all past papers from 2002 onwards. For A2, I only did about 6 years of past papers due to lack of time.

  20. Hi Daniel! Do you think it's possible for me to get straight A* if i got 88 for maths and chem and 92 for bio and 90 for physics? I was a little disappointed in my results but we'll what to do. So now I'm still hoping and working towards straight A*

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is definitely possible for you to get straight A* if you work harder for A2. You can get your raw marks for AS from your teacher and look at the A* grade thresholds for the previous years to have a rough idea on how many marks you need to score in A2.

    2. did you manage to get 4A* jess?

  21. hi Daniel.Thank you so much for your notes and tips they are really helpful. but i had one confusion. should we give as papers or composite papers. as some teachers say that giving composite papers is better and some say you should give AS papers to reduce the burden.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. By saying composite papers, do you mean taking AS and A2 papers together in the same exam session? I wouldn't recommend doing that, because it's really stressful to prepare for both AS and A2 for multiple subjects. It's better for you to take AS papers in one exam session and then A2 papers in the following exam session.
